This was my first time visiting hook and ladder... they had great drink prices a great variety of craft beer a super chill crowd and they have touch tunes. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the staff was so nice. I will definitely be visiting again. Two thumbs up all around ...
Seth is amazing!! I try making it in on Saturdays because he's usually in and he is quick with service, somehow makes time to conversate while at the same time taking care of everyone at the bar and at tables.. Such a sweetheart, and always makes my night with his humor and service..
Tonite was my first time ever at Hook. It's not my scene. But due to the recent death of a dear friend who happened to call that his spot I went tonight in his honor. It was a nice experience. I saw ppl I hadn't seen in forever and the prices were great-compared to the bowling I could afford to drink at Hook. I recommend it if u like a small cozy friendly atmosphere. And I agree with other reviews. Geoff is awesome friendly and great at his job
A nice place for social gatherings and where the locals tend to hang out. The bartenders were on it that night and we received our drinks quickly. The drinks ranged between 4.50 to 6.50 depending on what you order. It has two pinball machines, a dart board, a pool table, and juke box. The songs are about 1 each, and most of our money was spent on music. The baseball game was playing on TV, and there were a few annoying loud drunks. They also do not sale any food or appetizers here. Aside from that, it's a quaint place.
This place is simple and awesome, nothing to eat but great beer and prices. This place is chill, with all kinds of characters. They have 2-3 TV's for watching sports or fights, streaming jukebox, but only one pool table. The crowd is usually older about 30's and up, but are all usually friendly. Once I even saw our local weather man there, Kevin Ramer!
Very cool place to grab a craft beer or cocktail. Has a pool table and touch tunes machine. No food other than snacks if that's what you're looking for. Recommend.
Great place for drinks! Prices are good, friendly staff. The crowd that goes is pretty relaxed. Great environment and if you are a Firefighter the decor is for you of course the name of the place gives that away. Love this place.
